  • Horizontal Laminar Airflow (unidirectional Airflow) is an confined area moving in a uniform velocity along parallel flow lines. A continuous wash of HEPA/ULPA filtered Air moving horizontally across the work area. The uniform stream of air filtered air moves forward over the work surface from the rear of the work area. The airflow across the work area directly at the user and exhausts into the surrounding area.
  • Floor Mounted Version suitable when floor space is available.

Aeromech™ Horizontal Flow Systems offer maximum product protection, and are, by far, the most accepted form of sterile LAF controls as ISO Class 5 conditions areinherent in their design. They call for the least in operator discipline where the work activity involves physical manipulation. Operators may bend their bodies, over or around the work site. However, these systems are not suitable for operations where toxic fumes or vapours are encountered, or for work with open vessels of chemicals, solvent or powders. In such cases, Horizontal Flow would raise room vapour levels, increase solvent drag-out or distribute powder particles throughout the work area—thus resulting in not only greater contamination within the room, but also enhanced risks of cross-contamination through operators moving from station to station.

Aeromech™ Horizontal Laminar Airflow Ideal for microbiological manipulations, work with bio-assays, sterility testing and research with vial filling and bunging operations in parenteral units and for general dry-processing work in semi-conductor manufacture. Design permits superior scavenging efficiency, especially of heavier low-level air-borne particulates, resulting in improved and progressive ‘clean-down’ of the working area. Provides a comfortable ‘sit-down’ working position for the operators.

Available in Mild Steel Epoxy powder coated &, SS 304 / 316 / 316L or a combination of both.
